Team Updates

Team Coates:
Dale Coates' team of David Mozombite, Chase Ketcham, Chuck Egbert, and Gertjan Kamphorst concentrated their maintenance efforts on the Cessna 206 restoration for MAF-Chad as featured on page 1. They also completed an annual inspection on a regional Piper Cherokee.  
 

Moody Aviation Cessna 182
Pete Thayer, Moody Aviation intern, assembles the engine and makes repairs to the airframe of Moody Aviation’s Cessna 182.

Team Dunkley:
Mike Dunkley’s team of Scott Grote, Shawn Bupp, and Pete Thayer divided their work between Moody Aviation’s Cessna 182 and the 206 restoration project for MAG. Between those commitments they also completed annual inspections on three other aircraft: a Cessna 172, a Cessna 182, and a Piper Comanche.  
 

Bellanca Inspection
Ian Hengst supervises Scott Lazaros as Scott tightens the propeller flange bolts of I-Care’s Bellanca to the proper torque.

Team Hengst:
Ian Hengst and Scott Lazaros completed annual inspections on I-Care’s Bellanca and Focus Aviation’s Cessna 206. They also assisted with aspects of the Chad 206 restoration, conducted a Condition Inspection on a regional aircraft, and spent three weeks in Florida on Rapid Response in support of Missionary Flights International.  
 

Float Repair
Josh Adelsberger works in Hangar C to remove paint from one of the two amphibious floats being repaired and restored for mission use in Canada.
 
 

Other Projects:
Production Manager Tim Obarow supervised maintenance on a Piper Aztec for the Pfeifer Evangelistic Association assisted by Chief Inspector Dennis Satterthwaite and Josh Adelsberger. Gospel Carrier International’s King Air 200 also received maintenance under Tim’s oversight.
